Ration Card Online in India

Ration Card process is getting automated in most of the Indian states now. Here we will discuss some of the main aspects of ration card process getting automated. Ration Card in India is a document that every Indian house is supposed to have. It helps government to feed the deserved one’s using various Food and Security schemes. Best thing that I love about food and security scheme is their categorization. Ration Cards are distributed on basis of financial condition of the family and not on the basis of caste system. APL, BPL, Antyodaya are main ration card types that defines the range of particular kind of ration card. You can read more about Ration Car Types from here.

Ration Card Automated process

As I mentioned above ration card automation is being currently used by most of the Indian states (in fact all Indian states and UT’s have dedicated ration card portals where you can find all details online). Few of the states like Delhi, Goa, West Bengal etc have launched complete automated processes for ration card. You don’t need to go to ration card offices for any of the typical work that you usually finish by visiting there and standing in long long queues.
Ration Card in India
This automation is still in the first phase so it will obviously have some glitches and issues. So please be patient in case you face some glitch now. Officials are trying hard and hopefully they will cover all the glitches/lags very soon. Just for the safer side, I would advise you to visit your nearby Food and Supply office in case you have time or else you can contact them using contact us tab on each of the state’s food and supply web portal. Delhi has just launched e ration card scheme that allows the users to have ration card records directly on the cloud based systems. With e ration card, you don’t need to carry hard copy of original ration card at FPS (fair price shop). All the things will be maintained online. These are few things about ration card automation process in India. Do let me know your views on the same.

Various eSchemes by Indian Government

From the very beginning new Indian Government has come to role, we have been listening various schemes launching in very frequent basis. Were no schemes launched by previous Government? It is not like that, schemes were their at that time also but branding was not done properly. Kudos to new Government who have done this perfectly which have created common mass's attention towards them. Here we will discuss some of the schemes that Indian Government has launched so far. I will not limit this list to new Government only. It will be a combined list and will contain schemes from all the Governments (I mean it will depend upon schemes, not Government).

Various Government Schemes in India

Below are the major schemes: 1. Aadhar Card It is one of the biggest schemes on National level. Main motive of this schemes is to provide one unique identity to every Indian citizen. One Unique Identification Number will be allocated to every individual under this scheme. This number will act as the that person's identity. 2. NPR Card It is similar to Aadhar card and is applicable in states where Aadhar is not available. However a person registered under NPR scheme will be issued one electronic card that will prove his identity. 3. Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojna (PJDY) PJDY scheme has got International appreciation. It works towards financial inclusion and holds the record of opening maximum number of bank accounts in stipulated time interval. It will work great in combination with Aadhar or NPR card and Government has created a setup to credit all subsidies into bank accounts directly. Some other benefits are also given to account holders under this scheme. 4. Kisan Vika Patra This scheme is for farmers. Under this scheme, farmers will be applicable to double their principal amount in 100 months. It is a great schemes as well. It is a targeted scheme and hopefully do ever good in favor of farmers. Government has launched lot of other schemes also. I want to hear them bac from you. DO let me know which is your favorite Government scheme and why.
